“When you give to LVS, you make a direct impact on the lives of homeless veterans living right here in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area. Your support helps us provide crisis housing, case management, food, clothing and most importantly, permanent housing and advocacy.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, goes a long way in helping us accomplish our mission of offering homeless veterans the care, resources and stability needed to rebuild their lives.” – Jay Patrick, CEO

Veterans Village Capital Campaign
The Future for Liberation Veteran Services
LVS is undertaking a Capital Campaign to fund the development
of Veterans Village, a two-phased housing community that will
replace our current facility at 1201 Hull Street.
In 2021 LVS was the only agency in the Commonwealth of
Virginia to receive a one-time allocation of $1.9 Million in capital
funds from the US Veterans Administration to develop a brand-
new supportive housing facility with micro-apartments for
homeless Veterans.
Phase 1 will be our supportive housing facility and community building.
• Thirty-eight micro-apartments for Veterans to continue the great work we are currently doing in our Hull Street facility.
• Transform the current barracks style living, offering Veterans their own bedroom and private bathroom.
• Community building will include a dining hall, gathering spaces, administrative offices, conference room, laundry areas, an outdoor courtyard, and other shared spaces.
Phase 2 will include twelve additional micro-apartments and twenty affordable permanent apartments.
• Groundbreaking for Phase 1 is scheduled for Q3 2024
